CASA LOUISA is an authentic cigar's makers cottage located just 1/2 block off upper Duval Street. The cottage is a few houses down from the boyhood home of world renowned and recently deceased Key West folk artist, MARIO SANCHEZ. Mario's works are displayed and made available for sale at numerous galleries around the island -- most notable The GALLERY on GREEN at 606 Green Street.

Within walking distance to restaurants, night life, local attractions, and beautiful beaches, it is not necessary to have a car while staying at CASA LOUISA -- although renting mopeds or an elcetric cart are attractive options. Street parking in front of cottage is available.

New upgrades to the home include stainless steel appliances, full size washer/dryer (in the cabana by the pool), granite counter tops, flat-screen TVs, cable reception, and VHS/DVD. The cottage has recently undergone a fresh, contemporary, yet cozy restoration with the assistance of local designers and craftsmen.
